Abstract: We consider the design of experiments and the problem of data analysis for accelerated reliability tests, where the response follows a Weibull distribution, with a non-linear exponential regression model for the scale parameter consisting of fixed and random effects. Three different possible cases for the data have been considered: exact data, Type-I censored data, and random censored data. The research results have then been applied to a phase locked loop as a sub-block in communication systems.
